# Download and print your VahanQR sticker

In VahanQR, every vehicle has a ready-to-print round sticker with its QR code. You get it by email as soon as you add the vehicle, and you can download it again any time from your dashboard.

## How to download your sticker

1. [Sign in](~/login) and open **My Vehicles**.
2. Find the vehicle card. Its QR code is shown below the details.
3. Press [[Download Sticker]]. The button shows **Building…** for a moment.

## How to check the sticker before printing

Press [[Preview]] on the vehicle card. It opens the scan page exactly as a stranger sees it. If the page shows your vehicle and the call button, the QR is working.

## What arrives by email

When you add a vehicle, VahanQR emails you "Your VahanQR Code is Ready — *your plate*" with three files:

The email goes to the **Email** on your account. If MJX has WhatsApp delivery switched on, the sticker PDF may also arrive on your WhatsApp number.

## Steps to print it well

1. Open the PDF or PNG and choose **Actual size** (or 100%) in the print settings. Do not choose "Fit to page".
2. Print on sticker paper or weatherproof vinyl. A print shop can laminate it for you.
3. Check the printed circle measures about 3.5 inches (about 9 cm) across.
4. Scan the printed sticker with a phone camera to test it.

## Where to place the sticker

- **Car:** inside the windscreen, at a lower corner on the passenger side, facing out, or on a side window. Keep it out of the driver's view.
- **Bike or scooter:** on the front visor, the side panel or near the number plate, where a phone can reach it.
- Keep it flat, clean and away from tinted or very curved glass, so cameras can read it.

> Put the sticker where a passer-by would look first. A sticker that is hard to find or hard to scan will not help you when the car is blocking a gate at night.

## Who can download a sticker

The account that owns the vehicle. A society downloads its own stickers in bulk from the [society dashboard](societies/society-dashboard).

## When does the sticker stop working?

- If you delete the vehicle. A scan then shows **QR Not Found**.
- It never expires on its own, and changing your plan does not change it.

### What size is the VahanQR sticker?

It is a 3.5-inch round sticker. The downloaded file is set to print at that size at 600 DPI when you choose "actual size".

### Where do I get my sticker file?

It is emailed to you when you add the vehicle, and you can download it any time from **My Vehicles** with **Download Sticker**.

### Can I print it at any print shop?

Yes. Take the PDF or PNG to any print shop and ask for a 3.5-inch round sticker printed at actual size, ideally on weatherproof vinyl.

### Does the QR code change if I edit my vehicle?

No. Editing details or changing your privacy plan does not change the QR code. Only deleting the vehicle removes it.
