# VahanQR

> VahanQR is a vehicle QR code sticker — a car parking tag — from MJX Technologies for cars, bikes, trucks, buses and autos in India. Anyone who scans it with a phone camera can message the vehicle's owner or call them about wrong parking, lights left on, an accident or an emergency. On the Light and Strict privacy plans the call is masked, so the person calling does not see the owner's phone number.

The person scanning installs nothing: the phone camera opens a VahanQR page in the browser. The owner registers with a mobile number, adds the vehicle and up to three emergency contacts, and gets the QR code at once to print at home or at any print shop and stick on the windscreen.

## What the scan page offers

- Call the owner. Free plan: a direct call, and the caller sees the number. Light Privacy: a masked call while the owner has call minutes, then a direct call. Strict Privacy: always masked; the number is never shown.
- Alert up to three emergency contacts
- Send the owner a message; the owner gets an email alert
- Ambulance 108, police 100 and fire 101 in one tap
- Anti-spam: the last four digits of the plate are checked before a call, and abusive callers are IP-blocked

## Plans

- Plan 1 (no privacy): free forever
- Light Privacy and Strict Privacy: add masked calls and monthly call minutes. Prices are set by MJX and can change; the current ones are shown on https://vahanqr.mjxtechnologies.com/#pricing and at sign-up.

## For housing societies

- A society registers once and gets its own numbered batch of QR stickers carrying the society name (for example NNS-0001), plus a dashboard of codes in use, free codes, downloads and printing.
- For apartment complexes, gated communities, rental buildings and parking operators.
