Scanning a VahanQR sticker — how to contact a vehicle owner
Scanned a VahanQR sticker on a car or bike? Here is what the page shows and how to call, message or alert the owner.
A VahanQR sticker lets you reach a vehicle's owner without knowing their number. Scan it with your phone camera, open the link, and you can call the owner, call their emergency contacts, send a message, or dial emergency services. You do not need an app or an account.
#How to scan a sticker
- Open your phone's camera and point it at the round sticker.
- Tap the link that appears. The VahanQR page opens in your browser.
- Wait for "Loading vehicle info…" to finish.
#What the page shows

#What you can do
#If the sticker is not linked yet
You may see one of these instead of the vehicle:

| QR Not Found — "This QR code does not exist in our system." | The sticker is not linked to any vehicle. The owner cannot be reached through it. |
#Be fair to the owner
The page says: "Any spam will get your IP and number blocked on platform for upto 6 Months." Use VahanQR only for a real reason — a blocked gate, lights left on, an open window, a towing, or an accident.
#Your privacy as a scanner
- Scan pages are private. They are hidden from search engines.
- On a masked call, the owner does not see your number. The number you type is used only to set up the call.
- If you send a message, the owner sees the name and phone number you type, so they can call you back.
#Questions people ask
Do I need to install an app or sign in?
No. Point your phone camera at the sticker and open the link. Everything works in the browser.
Will the owner see my number?
If you send a message, the owner sees the name and number you type. On a masked call the owner does not see your number.
Why is part of the number plate hidden?
The last four characters are shown as ####. You type them from the real plate before a masked call, which proves you are standing near the vehicle.
What if it says "QR Not Found"?
The sticker is not linked to any vehicle any more, usually because the owner deleted it. VahanQR cannot reach the owner from it.
