VahanQR for housing societies — register your society
Register your housing society on VahanQR to get numbered QR stickers with your society name, with privacy included for every resident.
VahanQR for societies replaces hand-written parking stickers with QR stickers that carry your society's name. The society registers once, gets its own numbered batch of QR codes, and residents activate them on their own vehicles — with the society's privacy plan included, so residents never pay.
#Steps to register your society
- Open Register your society. You can also press For Societies or Register Your Society on the home page.
- Fill in:
- Society Name — as it should appear on the stickers
- Contact Person and Mobile Number (10 digits)
- Email — required for a society account
- Password and Confirm Password (at least 6 characters)
- Address, City, State, Pincode (optional)
- Vehicles / Flats (approx.) (optional)
- Press Register Society.
#What happens next
What you see next depends on how MJX has set up society sign-ups.
#When self-serve is on
You are signed in straight away and asked "How many QR codes?".
- Type the number you need (1 to 500).
- If there is a price per QR, the total is shown, for example "50 × ₹… per QR", with "Includes … privacy for every resident vehicle — residents never pay again."
- Press Pay ₹… & Get My QR Codes and pay. If no payment is needed, the box says "No payment needed right now — your codes are issued immediately." Press Issue My QR Codes.
- You see "*N* QR codes are ready", with the first and last serial numbers. Press Go to My Dashboard.
Not ready to order? Press Skip for now. You can order from your dashboard later.
#When approval is needed
You see "*Society* has been submitted for approval. The VahanQR team will review it and activate your QR allocation — you can log in now and track the status." Press Go to Login. Your dashboard shows Awaiting approval until MJX approves you and issues your batch.

#How residents use the stickers
- Hand each resident a printed sticker.
- The resident scans it, fills the activation form and sticks it on their vehicle. The form names your society and shows "privacy is included by your society, there is nothing to pay."
- Your dashboard then shows that code as In use, with the vehicle number and the resident's name.

#Questions people ask
Who can register a society?
Apartment complexes, gated communities, rental buildings and parking operators. One contact person registers on behalf of the society.
Do residents pay anything?
No. The society's plan covers every resident vehicle activated on its stickers.
How are the stickers numbered?
Each society gets a short code from its name, and stickers are numbered from it, for example SNR-0001, SNR-0002. New batches continue the numbering.
How many codes can I order at once?
Between 1 and 500 per order. You can order more later from your dashboard.
Is an email required?
Yes. A society account must have an email address.
